Bad blogger

So been a bit rubbish at having a blog, had not realised the commitment I was entering into. I will do better this week…..

So to catch up, I have been sticking to my diet, did have a bit of wheat last weekend, which seemed to up set the tummy a little bit. I was good the rest of the week except when I found that some of the meat free products I use have milk and gluten in.

This weeks going to keep away from them, have a meal plan on soups and salad for lunches and fresh fish, ratatouille, gluten free pasta and an attempt to make a chinese meal with no gluten in for dinners.

Will be having another cook up with Mr L this afternoon, will be blogging some pics later.

Fresh yeast. Whoop whoop

So I’ve had rather a good evening, not only losing another pound at Weight Watchers, but after a long hunt I’ve got fresh yeast!!!! You may wonder what the excitement is but I have been looking for it for 2 weeks. I went on a pasta and pizza making course and one of the good ways to keep calories down is to use fresh yeast as you don’t need to add sugar to it. 

The first bread rolls I made were with potato and rice flour and there ok, but a bit solid and taste very bland, so I have brought some more that is made from rice, tapioca, potato, sarrasin and carob which will hopefully taste a bit better, will keep you posted.
